Want to create something fresh, flavoursome and very tasty for your guest? Cooking for a large group of people can be daunting, but with our Rendang Paste you can easily dish out one of Malaysia's favourite curries.
What you need:
2 kg of chicken (breast or thigh)
Minced garlic and ginger
Salt
Oil
3 bottles of Satay G's Creative Street Food - Rendang Paste
2 Onions
4 Potatoes
2 tomatoes
250 ml of your favourite coconut milk
300 ml of water
Step 1
Marinade chicken with 2 tbsp of oil, 2 tsp of garlic, 2 tsp of ginger and 1.5 tsp of salt. Marinade overnight if possible. Grill for 15 minutes, turning chicken and cook for a further 10 minutes. Take out, let it rest, and cut into cubes.
Step 2
In a saucepan, add 3 tbsp of oil, brown the sliced onions, garlic and ginger, then add sliced tomatoes and chicken. *Optional* Add fresh chilli. Add 3 bottles of Rendang paste and 300 ml water. Add diced potatoes. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Add coconut milk. Simmer until potatoes are cooked.
Serve with steamed rice and sliced cucumber, red onions and pineapple salad.
